Tucker and Catherine have been a team for 17 years and in that time discovered many newfound passions, but one in particular captured both of their hearts with full force: bluewater sailing. Through their journey of teaching themselves everything about sailing together, they unearthed a profound excitement for navigating the open seas. Self-taught and seduced by the allure of the ocean, they dove into the realm of sailing headfirst and have since accumulated 15,000 nautical miles exploring both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. 

Their sailing experience inspired Tucker to deepen his maritime knowledge and craftsmanship. He enrolled at The Landing School of Boat Building and Design, an institution renowned for its expertise, earned his USCG Master's License and honed his skills as a professional rigger. In parallel, Catherine's journey took her into the heart of community engagement. She assumed the role of a youth sail coach for a nonprofit organization with a noble mission: to introduce the local community to the magic of sailing.

Amid a Pacific crossing, from the shores of Mexico to the Marquesas, an idea began to crystallize. Four years have since unfolded, bringing this notion into reality. Tucker and Catherine, now equipped with the skills and knowledge to share their sailing passion with you, are thrilled to launch Salty Coffee Sailing Expeditions—a long-anticipated venture that extends a warm invitation to you!
